Valoración Personal de Stefania (Voluntaria de Rumanía). Campo de Trabajo San Gil/Placeat 2015

Campo de trabajo . 3 – 16 august 2015. 2 weeks. Tengo que reconocer que estaba un poco nerviosa de lo que toda esta experiencia podría ser. Dos semanas con la gente que yo no conocía, tratando de hablar en un idioma que no sabía muy bien, dos semanas con los Usuarios en un ambiente diferente al de Placeat, cómo todo esto va a ir? Pero al mismo tiempo sentí curiosidad, y después de escuchar a otros voluntarios que han estado en un campo de este tipo, me sentía de alguna manera energizado y feliz que podría cambiar la vista, feliz ante la posibilidad de ver otros lugares y conocer a otras personas ... Pero la realidad superó mis expectativas.

I have to recognize that I was a little scared (nervous)  of what all this experience could be. Two weeks with people I didin’t know, trying to speak in a language I didn’t know very well, two weeks with the usuarios in a different environement than placeat, how it all go?

But in the same time I was kind of curios, and after listening to other volunteers that have been in such a camp, I felt somehow energized and happy  I could change the view, happy in front of the possibility of seeing other places and meeting other people…

But the reality surpassed my expectation. 

Desde el primer día. La primera sorpresa fue ver estos jóvenes abiertas y interesante en un tema de este tipo. Y luego fue la sorpresa de ver a los Usuarios tan abierta y tan feliz con toda la atención que reciben.

From the first day.  The first surprise was seeing such young people opened and interesting in such a theme. And then was the surprise of seeing the usuarios so opened and so happy with all the attention they receive.

Y después, los días comienzan a pasar ... más y más rápido, cada uno de que sea lleno de cosas nuevas: cosas que ver, cosas para entender, también superar, dejar ir, para disfrutar.

Para mí, personalmente, todo esto era como un desafío y me intentaron, a mi manera, para enfrentarlo. Hasta yo no lo demostró, en muchas ocasiones, lo disfruto. Yo lo disfrute ver a todos tan involucrados y así comprometida, yo realmente y profundamente encantado ver a la gente con ganas y creyendo que podían cambiar el mundo. Por la forma en que se hizo cargo de los Usuarios, por cierto trataron de hacerlos sonreír, por cierto que lo intenten, en este momento, para mantenerse en contacto con ellos, por cierto que disfrutamos cada día y cada situación, por cierto que trabajaron tan duro para que todo va a ir bien.

Para mí, la gente de este campo de Trabajo fueron un exemple de vivir, trabajar y disfrutar de las cosas.

Estoy agradecido por el cumplimiento de todos ellos.

Como alguien dijo, una noche, todos ellos tienen grandes posibilidades de hacer lo que quieran en esta vida.

Yo realmente deseo esto para todos ellos!

For me, personally, all of this was a challenge and I tried, in my own way, to face it. Even I didn’t show it, in  many occasions, I enjoy it. I enjoied seeing everyone so involved and so commited, I realy and deeply loved seeing people wanting and believing they could change the world. By the way they took care of the usuarios, by the way they tried to make them smile, by the way they try , right now, to keep in touch  with them, by the way they enjoyed every day and every situation, by the way they worked so hard  so everything will go well.

For me, the people of this campo de trabajo were an example of living , working and enjoying things.

I’m gratefull for meeting them all.

Like someone said, one night, they all have great chances of doing whatever they want in this life.

I really wish that for all of them!
